Selling to us

What to bring when you sell

Three things make a visit fast. Pennsylvania precious-metals rules require the first one; the other two just get you a better, quicker offer.

Required

Photo ID

A current driver's license, PA photo ID, or passport. State law requires us to record seller identification for every precious-metals purchase — it protects you as much as it protects us.

  • Sellers must be 18 or older
  • ID name should match the payee
Your items

The items themselves

Bring everything, even pieces you think are worthless. Broken chains, single earrings, dental gold, and worn silver dimes all have melt value on the scale.

  • Coins — loose, in albums, or in rolls
  • Jewelry, sterling flatware, and holloware
  • Bullion bars and rounds of any maker
Helpful

Any paperwork

Not required, but original documentation can add real money to an offer, especially on graded coins and better-date material.

  • PCGS or NGC grading slips and inserts
  • Mint packaging, COAs, purchase receipts
  • Prior appraisals or insurance schedules

Estates & large collections

Settling an estate? Book the back room.

For estates, accumulations over a few hundred coins, or full sterling services, call and we will reserve a private evaluation block — usually an hour, no charge, no obligation. Executors should bring letters testamentary or a short-form certificate along with photo ID. For collections that cannot travel, we make house calls within Bucks County by arrangement.

Tell us what you are bringing — a ballpark count, karat marks you can read, any slabs or notes of interest — and we will have the right references and ledger sheets ready at the counter.

Practical details

Parking, accessibility, and common questions

Parking

The plaza lot wraps the whole run of storefronts — free parking, no meters, no permits, and usually several spaces open right in front of our door. Rows farther out are rarely more than half full, so there is room even at the busiest part of the day. If you are unloading an estate, pull up to the door and we will bring a cart out.

Accessibility

Level, step-free entry from the lot; a 36-inch doorway; and an aisle wide enough for wheelchairs and walkers throughout the showroom. Seating is available at the evaluation counter — appraisals take a few minutes and nobody should stand through them. Service animals are always welcome.

Yes, for now. The storefront opens later this year, so until then every visit is by appointment — a single coin or a full estate, we will find you a time. Once we open, walk-ins will cover most visits and only large collections will need a scheduled block.
A handful of jewelry or a few coins: ten to fifteen minutes, including weighing, testing, and payment. Album collections run longer because we check dates and mintmarks rather than treating everything as bulk.
Yes. Verbal opinions are free and carry no obligation. Written appraisals for insurance or estate purposes are done at a flat hourly rate quoted in advance.
Later this year — we will post the opening date and regular hours on this page as soon as the buildout at 3636 Street Rd is finished. In the meantime, appointments are open and the counter is fully equipped.
